M.G.D School was born in 1943.

The school began with twenty-four girls, all daughters of the then Jagirdars or officials and the elite business class of Jaipur.

Miss Lutter became the founder Principal of M.G.D in 1943.

The school is up to class XII. In class I there are total 5 sections. There are 6 sections in each class till class X. The school has 3 streams with 2 sections each in class XI and XII. All together there are 71 classes.

Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Informatic Practices and Home Science are offered under Science stream at +2 level.

Computer Science is offered under science stream from class I to VIII as compulsory subject and in class IX and X as work experience.

Students of IX and X learn COREL DRAW, WEB DESIGNING using DREAMWEAVER.

Music is compulsory from class 1st to 8th, 9th and 10th as Art Education, Class XI and XII as Work Experience.

Expert teachers are called for exam preparedness for the cbse exams for science, humanities and commerce. All together there are 26 elective subjects under the three streams.

For classes XI and XII the girls have to take any one of the following. Work Experience, Batik, Blue Pottery, Tie & Dye, Clay Modeling, Needle work, meal planning, Paper Machie, Dance, Music.

For classes IX and X - The girls have to take anyone of the following crafts. i.e. Tie-Dye, Nib painting, Stain glass, paper Machie, Computers, Tailoring, Knitting & Embroidery.

The School has a full-fledged Army NCC unit, which regularly participates in all major functions and events in the school. The unit is also involved in various competitions and other events, which are organized under the auspices of the NCC unit in Jaipur.

Mehendi Competition, Debate and IPSC Sports Meet are held regularly and students are encouraged to participate.

The school boasts of a well-equipped library, 3 computer labs and one chemistry lab.

The school mess is also called the Sawai Man Singh Hall and was inaugurated by the then President of India Sri Shankar Dayal Sharma in 1993. It is well supplied with cutlery, disposable bins and water coolers.
